Nick has been a zine collector, a record label magnate and a food writer. He’s garnered national media attention as a personal lube pitchman and natural disaster survivor. Currently, he is a proud public servant working in community relations.
He enjoys reasonably good coffee, hiking, zipping around on an ebike and having completed runs down the Sycamore Greenway Trail. Nick fancies himself a reasonably OK amateur iPhone photographer, enjoys decent typography and has tried to shed as much of his childhood picky eating habits as he can. He has reframed his various aversions and opinions as “having taste” and believes basically every problem is a design one. He cusses a lot, which some study he read on the internet says means he’s smart.
Growing up, Nick lived on the edge of a national forest in Alaska and down the street from a state penitentiary in Pennsylvania.
